The Center for Youth: Started BY YOUTH FOR YOUTH. We partner with youth to realize their full potential, by creating opportunities, removing barriers and promoting social justice. Overview: The Arnett House is a transitional living program for homeless youth that identify as LGBTQ+ or trafficked youth. The Life Skills Specialist will engage and establish mutually respectful, trusting relationships with the youth we serve. The Specialist is responsible for the coordination of life skills programming and education and employment curriculum. Staff will conduct on-going assessments of youth's skill level and create individual/group training opportunities. This position will also assist the New Beginning Program Manager in creating and implementing a service learning model for the residents in order to build healthy, permanent connections in our community. Schedule: Full Time. Sunday & Monday & Thursday 3:30pm- 11pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 10am- 6pm Location: Arnette House
