About The Position

As a Life Skills Instructor, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting adults with disabilities through meaningful daily activities, work training, and community-based experiences — all while ensuring their safety, well-being, and inclusion.

Requirements

High School Diploma required.
Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable car for work purposes.
Willingness to attend mandatory paid orientation and ongoing training. Training schedules are flexible and are offered during day and evening hours.

Nice To Haves

A background in education or experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
Preference given to candidates with prior experience in employment services and/or providing direct support.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
Ensure members’ health, safety, and medication administration
Train and assist with daily life skills
Encourage and support community participation and plan activities in the community
Maintain appropriate staff-member relationships
Keep records sharp and updated in Carelogic (our Electronic Health Record)
Know your way around Microsoft Office
