About The Position

In this position, you are given the general liberty to make your own daily and weekly schedules based on understanding the client’s monthly needs and by working with the client’s availability and their desired days and times that work best for them. You will be responsible for documenting daily service/case notes and writing quarterly progress reports for the individuals assigned to you. 90% of your time will be spent in the field working with clients and the other 10% will be administrative work, such as writing reports, documentation, emails, etc. As part of this position, you will also be required to attend monthly training meetings at SYW’s branch office and communicate regularly with both your ILS Program Manager and your client’s RC service coordinators. Requirements

  • Available to work Monday-Friday and occasionally on Saturdays.
  • Comfortable driving clients in your personal vehicle.
  • A compassionate, understanding, patient and caring individual.
  • Personable and adaptable to various personalities and lifestyles.
  • Engaging, motivating, and able to think "outside the box" to solve problems.
  • Dependable, able to work with minimal supervision, and hold yourself accountable.
  • Takes initiative, is driven to succeed, and advocates for others.
  • Pick up new tasks quickly, follow directions, and ask questions when unsure.
  • Computer literate with basic computer skills and intermediate knowledge of using MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communicator in all aspects is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Knowledge with and can teach others budgeting, appointment management, time management, home care, and public transportation.
