As a Community Support Specialist (CSS) with AMADA, you will be working with US military veterans who suffer from PTSD and/or face cognitive deficits because of traumatic brain injuries, to develop individual plans geared towards achieving their individual goals. A CSS will help clients build skills, enhance their problem-solving ability, contribute to home life, and enhance community engagement. Job Type: (PART TIME) $25.00 per hr. / Up to 50 hours per month Location: Puyallup , WA The Ideal Candidate: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a keen ability to identify strengths in others. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, a good listener, and has an understanding of the complex lifelong needs of persons with traumatic brain injury and the challenges they face. An ideal candidate is someone who can work with considerable independence. As a CSS you will be expected to demonstrate a high level of ethics, proficiency and professionalism at all times.
