Youth Villages is seeking a LifeSet Specialist to join our team in Wilmington, NC. This position is part of our LifeSet Transitional Living program, which aims to assist young adults aged 16-22 in becoming self-sufficient by utilizing community resources effectively. The LifeSet Specialist will handle a caseload of eight clients, working closely with them to create individualized service plans tailored to their specific goals for transitioning into adulthood. This role requires forming therapeutic relationships with clients, their families, and other key community stakeholders to ensure a supportive environment for growth and development. The LifeSet Specialist will be responsible for guiding clients in accessing essential resources such as housing, employment, and education. This involves not only providing information but also teaching clients how to navigate these resources independently. The position offers a flexible and non-traditional schedule, accommodating the availability of the youth and families served. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, a personal vehicle for work purposes, and auto insurance, as community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.
