About The Position

The primary objective of this position is to provide needed assistance and support to the residents of Peace Village and to promote the general well-being of the resident population. This is accomplished by providing a variety of physical, mental, emotional, social, and recreational programs under the direction of the Supervisor of Life Enrichment. This is accomplished through leadership; direct/frequent contact with residents, families, and other resources; and coordination with respective Life Enrichment staff.

Requirements

• Associate Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred or prior work experience in related field is required.
• One year or more of experience with Seniors creating and implementing group activities.
• Computer experience including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning, selection, scheduling and implementation of ongoing activities, entertainment, and outings.
• Organizes, plans and implements activity calendar, and weekly Village Voice.
• Utilize resident assessments to create innovative programs that are engaging for all residents.
• Decorates for theme parties and events, i.e. resident birthdays, holidays, etc.
• Collaborate with all internal teams and external vendors to organize a variety of activities and events.
• Drives vehicles for activities when necessary.
• Monitors and prepares slides for Peace Village’s in house TV Channels.
• Ensures outstanding customer service in accordance with the mission of Peace Village.
