About The Position
Kilpatrick is seeking a USPTO registered Patent Agent specializing in Life Sciences. The ideal candidate will reside in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, or North Carolina and should be available for an in-office, remote, or hybrid work schedule. The applicant should possess strong writing skills and relevant experience in Life Sciences patent prosecution is preferred. An advanced degree or commensurate experience is required, with expertise in molecular biology considered an asset. Candidates must have at least 3 years of direct patent prosecution experience, demonstrating attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in technical writing is a plus, and applicants should be prepared to provide transcripts and writing samples upon request.
