The Life Sciences Data Analyst will generate complex healthcare datasets for external and internal clients. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and various levels of management, as well as learning and embracing the nuances of real-world data (RWD). The analyst will review and verify the quality of deliverables from other analysts, coordinate with end users and stakeholders to ensure project completion, and participate in quarterly data product releases. Responsibilities also include preparing supporting documentation, ensuring data dictionaries and entity relationship diagrams are accurate, performing quality control on team members' products, and delivering full data products to clients. The analyst will support client-facing teams by addressing client concerns and coordinating with infrastructure teams for ongoing optimization of processes. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

  • Generate complex healthcare datasets for external and internal clients.

  • Coordinate with data teams to ensure data dictionary and entity relationship diagram are accurate.
  • Perform quality control of team members' products to ensure errors are not introduced into code and that analytical process is sound.
  • Deliver full data products to clients as well as other delivery methods that may be developed in the future.
  • Support client-facing teams by investigating client concerns or questions they may experience as they use our data products.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams for ongoing optimization and streamlining of the release process and cohort generation process.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistical Science, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one year of experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or SAS.
  • Experience with cloud-based storage systems including S3, GitHub, AWS environment and Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or SmartSheet.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Jira, or Google Platforms.
  • Understanding of industry terminology such as HealthCare codes, Government data, and marketing terminologies.
  • Experience with project management tools including Jira, Excel and Zoom.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and encryption.
