The Life Science Building Engineer 2 is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all building systems, operating the building efficiently, and performing a variety of tenant services while fostering positive tenant relations, all in accordance with established operational and safety procedures. This role requires the ability to operate advanced building systems within a critical environment, ensuring minimal downtime, and a strong understanding of complex drawings, ladder diagrams, and schematics. Key duties include the day-to-day efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all building and site systems, encompassing HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, energy management, water treatment, hardware, keying, and fire protection. The engineer will also be involved in the installation, fabrication, construction, troubleshooting, and repair or maintenance of complex mechanical and electrical equipment.
