About The Position

Equitable is seeking a dynamic and influential Life Sales Desk Manager to join our team. This role provides strategic leadership and hands-on direction for all aspects of the Life Sales Desk, a core function responsible for driving life insurance sales and meeting critical sales objectives. The Life Sales Desk Manager will lead a high-performing team that delivers exceptional outbound sales support and solutions to Financial Professionals (FPs) across multiple sales channels. This position plays a key role in strengthening distribution relationships, advancing sales effectiveness, and supporting the broader sales organization. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on–site presence of 2–3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of Internal Wholesaling or Sales Desk experience
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 registrations
  • FINRA Series 26 registration or the willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Resident Life and Variable insurance license, plus Non-Resident Life and Variable insurance licenses (all states and Puerto Rico), or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the quality and effectiveness of Life Sales Desk efforts to deliver exceptional outbound sales activity and comprehensive support to Financial Professionals across multiple sales channels
  • Cultivate strong relationships between Equitable Distributors Life distribution and Financial Professionals by consistently exceeding FP expectations and adding value on every interaction
  • Maintain high service levels while fostering superior performance standards across the Sales Desk team
  • Support the external sales force management team and assist Financial Professionals throughout all stages of the sales process
  • Drive consistency, accountability, and alignment with sales objectives and organizational priorities
