About The Position

The Life Safety Officer (LSO) at Caesars Entertainment is responsible for ensuring a safe and friendly environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets. The LSO will patrol assigned areas, assist guests, and respond to emergencies, all while adhering to company policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, effective communication, and the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 2 years of prior security experience preferred.
• Experience in a guest contact position preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to work any day and shift.
• Must obtain a Nevada Gaming Card and Alcohol Awareness Card (AES).
• Current and valid Nevada Driver's License required.
• Must maintain a current Basic Emergency Medical Technician certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a high-risk environment.
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and team members with a friendly welcome.
• Continuously patrol the property to ensure safety and compliance with laws and policies.
• Exercise good judgment in problem-solving and customer complaint resolution.
• Act as an ambassador for Caesars Entertainment by providing accurate directions and information.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Provide assistance to law enforcement and testify in court when necessary.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and CPR as needed.
• Document incidents requiring security intervention according to company policy.
• Conduct visual inspections of emergency equipment and restock medical supplies as necessary.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
