A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LIFE SAFETY COORDINATOR As a Life Safety Coordinator, you are ultimately responsible for supporting the Project Manager and ensuring that projects come in under the estimator's budget while providing support to the project team to exceed client expectations. The successful Fire Alarm Project Coordinator is highly organized, dependable and provides critical administrative and logistical support to the project teams. This entry-level to mid-level role helps keep our Fire Alarm projects on schedule and running smoothly

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree favorable
  • Previous experience in construction, finance, and/or administrative support a plus
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite products
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • organized and detail oriented
  • tenacity to get things done on time
  • desire to learn Project Management

Nice To Haves

  • Project management professional (PMP)
  • construction quality control (USACE CQM-C)
  • OSHA 30 certifications
