About The Position

The Life Inspired Director develops, modifies, evaluates, and implements activity programs that embrace and fulfill the social needs and interests of the senior population living in and visiting the Community.

Requirements

• Certification as required by State regulations for activities.
• High level of effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work responsibly as a team member and individually.
• Honesty, fairness, and dependability.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Experience in planning and executing activities for seniors with varying levels of ability.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet health requirements and pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dementia-specific training.
• Ability to practice and promote company policies and values.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, evaluate, and implement activity programs for seniors.
• Plan, organize, and execute a varied schedule of life enrichment opportunities for all levels of seniors.
• Supervise employees and train volunteers.
• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
• Represent the Community in a positive and professional manner.
