About The Position

The Life Flight Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and logistical coordination for both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer recommendations. This role requires after-hours availability and involves daily maintenance tasks, inspections, and documentation of aircraft records.

Requirements

• Current Federal Aviation Airframe & Power Plant license.
• Demonstrated aviation maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft and respective turbine engines.

Nice To Haves

• Multiple Aircraft Qualified with Factory Training on Fixed wing (B200 King Air) and Helicopter (Agusta A109).
• Structural Sheet metal experience.
• Advanced Troubleshooting Training / Experience.
• 3-5 years aviation experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily aircraft maintenance for aircraft at home base and satellite locations.
• Schedule, coordinate, and complete scheduled maintenance and inspections in a timely manner.
• Complete RII inspections as required.
• Document, maintain, and complete aircraft records in accordance with FAA and Intermountain requirements.
• Track aircraft inspection, component due times, and completion of tasks in a computer database.
• Maintain company-owned special tools and equipment in good working order.
• Ensure calibration requirements are met.
• Assist in the transport of equipment and supplies, including medical equipment and Life Flight drug bags with controlled substances.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and new developments in the aviation field.
