Join our team at LifeFlight's Critical Care Transport, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients in our state-of-the-art ground ambulance. The EMT provides appropriate, efficient, and timely interfacility transport while providing the necessary basic life support care of the sick and injured neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in accordance with hospital policies, local, state, and national standards of practice.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • TN EMT License
  • Valid Driver's License from state of residence

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of high volume 911 system experience
  • NREMT BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) and VFK training
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program, NRP (can be obtained on orientation)
  • S.T.A.B.L.E (can be obtained on orientation)
  • PHTLS (required within first year of employment)
  • NIMS IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800
  • Fundamentals Airway Class (can be obtained on orientation)

Responsibilities

  • Provide appropriate, efficient, and timely interfacility transport.
  • Deliver necessary basic life support care to sick and injured neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
  • Operate specialized equipment such as Hamilton T1 ventilator, ISTAT, Medtronic pacemaker, and others.
  • Work as part of a dedicated team providing advanced care to critically ill patients.
