About The Position

The Life Enrichment Director position at Morning Pointe Senior Living is a key role within the management team, focusing on creating resident-centered, high-performance teams that align with the company's mission of partnering with families to meet life's challenges. Requirements

  • Must hold a high school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in senior resident services or Life Enrichment.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or adult living is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate quality recreational and activity programs.
  • Gain market recognition through promotional and public relations efforts.
  • Meet with residents to understand their needs and ensure programs are effective.
  • Organize and communicate the activity calendar to residents and associates.
  • Work closely with the Community Relations Director to facilitate Life Enrichment events.
  • Comply with budgetary guidelines.
  • Respond to customer comments and requests for action.
  • Ensure community awareness through volunteer and outreach plans.
  • Design and oversee creative activity programming, scheduling at least 6 activities a day.
  • Understand and implement the Morning Pointe Life Enrichment Standards.
  • Establish a database of community outreach contacts.
  • Produce monthly activities calendar and newsletter.
  • Train resident assistants and volunteers in activity leadership.
  • Meet new residents within 48 hours for activity assessment.
  • Coordinate quarterly and monthly special events.
  • Assist in developing Personal Service Care Plans related to activities.
  • Implement a volunteer program for life enrichment activities.
  • Communicate with residents regarding activity start times.
  • Conduct associate in-service training related to activities.
  • Respond to requests for marketing materials.
  • Ensure family and community awareness of programming.
  • Submit photos of activities for press and publicity.
  • Maintain records of resident participation in activities.
  • Engage with residents through one-on-one contact.
  • Offer individual and small group activities.
  • Post a seasonally decorated calendar in the common area.
  • Assist with transportation for external activities.
  • Attend and coordinate external community events.
  • Participate in Manager on Duty program.
  • Serve as back-up for tours and inquiry calls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
