About The Position
Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a creative and purpose-driven Life Enrichment Director to design and lead meaningful programs that enhance the daily lives of our residents. In senior living, life enrichment is more than activities — it’s connection, engagement, and creating moments that matter. This leadership role is responsible for developing experiences that support residents’ physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Recreational Therapy, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of leadership experience (senior living or healthcare preferred)
- Proven ability to design and implement engaging programming
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of state regulations related to life enrichment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Genuine passion for improving the lives of senior adults
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive life enrichment strategy aligned with resident interests and abilities
- Lead, mentor, and schedule life enrichment associates
- Plan and facilitate activities, events, outings, and community partnerships
- Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement outcomes
- Manage department budget and resources responsibly
- Ensure programs comply with state regulations and company standards
- Partner with families to encourage involvement and connection
- Promote a person-centered approach to engagement
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
