About The Position

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a creative and purpose-driven Life Enrichment Director to design and lead meaningful programs that enhance the daily lives of our residents. In senior living, life enrichment is more than activities — it’s connection, engagement, and creating moments that matter. This leadership role is responsible for developing experiences that support residents’ physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Recreational Therapy, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of leadership experience (senior living or healthcare preferred)
  • Proven ability to design and implement engaging programming
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of state regulations related to life enrichment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Genuine passion for improving the lives of senior adults

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive life enrichment strategy aligned with resident interests and abilities
  • Lead, mentor, and schedule life enrichment associates
  • Plan and facilitate activities, events, outings, and community partnerships
  • Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement outcomes
  • Manage department budget and resources responsibly
  • Ensure programs comply with state regulations and company standards
  • Partner with families to encourage involvement and connection
  • Promote a person-centered approach to engagement
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
