About The Position

The Life Enrichment Director at Heritage Senior Living is responsible for planning and managing a comprehensive life enrichment program for residents. This role emphasizes collaboration with team members and volunteers to enhance the quality of life for seniors in various care settings. The position requires a caring attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • High school diploma or GED with related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in social recreational programs.
  • Experience working with seniors in various care environments such as assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Assess needs, plan, and manage all aspects of the life enrichment program.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise the life enrichment team.
  • Develop and distribute the life enrichment and activities program/calendar in advance.
  • Coordinate with the director of nursing to update resident service plans.
