About The Position
The Marshes of Skidaway Island is seeking a warm, energetic, and organized part time Life Enrichment Coordinator to help create a vibrant, welcoming, and engaging community for our residents. This role supports event planning, resident engagement, and administrative functions—all aligned with our 10 Hospitality Promises and the 8 Dimensions of Wellness. This is a part time position and hours vary with mainly evening and weekend hours to support on campus and off campus events. What we can offer you: Free employee meal Annual holiday bonus Free parking Scholarship opportunity Ample employee recognition programs Clean, friendly, hospitality-oriented, team-driven work environment Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Life Enrichment Coordinator: Assist in planning, coordinating, and supporting daily, weekly, and monthly events, activities, and fitness classes Help prepare newsletters, communications, marketing materials, and event calendars Support event set‑up and break‑down (tables, chairs, décor, equipment) Provide exceptional hospitality to residents, families, and guests Assist with transporting residents to on- and off‑campus events or appointments Maintain organized workspaces, supplies, and equipment Cross‑train to support administrative and departmental needs Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Strong organizational, communication, and customer‑service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher) Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed Valid Georgia driver’s license with a safe driving record Experience in senior living, hospitality, or event coordination preferred Here are a few of the physical requirements: Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving event equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push residents in wheelchairs Comfort working briefly outdoors in varied weather conditions If you are compassionate, creative, and passionate about enriching the lives of older adults, we’d love for you to join our team! Requirements
