About The Position

Are you passionate about enriching the lives of seniors? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Life Enrichment Coordinator (Memory Care) to bring creativity and joy to our residents' daily experiences! Trinity Terrace is a beautiful and vibrant senior living community that has been serving Fort Worth seniors for more than 100 years. Trinity Terrace offers care and support in various areas such as Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm What You’ll Be Doing: As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will implement therapeutic activity and life enrichment programs for our residents. Your role includes supporting volunteers and leading holistic activity programs that align with our person-centered care philosophy, ensuring a high level of care and engagement. The Life Enrichment Coordinator must be a qualified professional who: Is a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional who is eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist, a therapeutic recreation assistant, or an activities professional by a recognized accrediting body, such as the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals, or the Consortium for Therapeutic Recreation/Activities Certification, Inc.; Has two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years, one year of which was full-time in an activities program in a health care setting; or Has completed an activity director training course approved by the National Association for Activity Professionals or the National Therapeutic Recreation Society.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Two (2) + years of experience working with older adults, in long-term care, recreation, or activities programming
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Finger Print Clearance Card
  • Is a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional who is eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist, a therapeutic recreation assistant, or an activities professional by a recognized accrediting body, such as the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals, or the Consortium for Therapeutic Recreation/Activities Certification, Inc.;
  • Has two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years, one year of which was full-time in an activities program in a health care setting; or
  • Has completed an activity director training course approved by the National Association for Activity Professionals or the National Therapeutic Recreation Society.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Education, or related field
