Givens Aldersgate is looking for a Life Enrichment Intern who will be responsible for implementing activities that enhance the quality of life and well-being of AL residents. In this role you will promote social engagement, and support the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of the residents. Schedule: Part-time 20-29 hours per week.
Requirements
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Relevant experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with residents, families, staff and volunteers to develop a vibrant and fulfilling activity program.
- Assist with special events, attend outings, and celebrations for residents and their families.
- Work closely with other departments to integrate activity programming into overall plans of care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards related to life enrichment programing, resident rights, and safety protocols.
