About The Position

Touchmark at Fairway Village is Southwest Washington's premier retirement community. Our goal is to enrich the lives of residents by providing them with exceptional service in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Life Enrichment Coordinator with a focus on working in our Memory Care Community!
Wednesday thru Sunday - generally
9 am - 6pm
As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will enrich lives every day by assisting in the planning and implementation of an activities program that will meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents. You will have the daily opportunity to exercise your creativity and your ability to encourage and motivate others, and to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their families.
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have experience working with a social or recreational activities program
• Have a commitment to confidentiality in respect to resident status and medical history
• Have an excellent driving record - No moving traffic violations in the past three years, and be able to learn to drive our non-CDL bus for outings
• Be trained in CPR/First Aid and AIDS certified; we provide this training
• Possesses the ability to work independently, without supervision
• Be highly flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the planning and implementation of an activities program that will meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents.
• Arrange, organize, and assist with activities both on and off campus, such as holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, community outings, and exercise programs
• Leading games, brain games, hosting happy hours, parties, outings, and bingo
