The position involves assisting the Director of Life Enrichment (DLE) with planning, coordinating, and running all community activities. This includes helping with the planning of the monthly activities calendar and newsletter, supporting the Food and Beverage programming, and encouraging resident participation in community activities while promoting their independence. The role may also require attending outings off-site to ensure a meaningful and safe experience for residents.

  • Order supplies and equipment for regular activities.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the DLE.
  • Help maintain the Activity Participation Tracking Chart.
  • Assist in the success of the community Parallel Programming schedule.
  • Be mindful of the Resident's Rights to Privacy when interacting with residents and family members.
  • Safely drive residents to and from activities when needed.
  • Work in a safe and alert manner.
  • Take ownership for associate's safety and the safety of residents.
  • Disclose any medication that might impair ability to perform the job safely or competently.
