About The Position
Life Enrichment Assistant Pay Range: $17–$19 per hour (based on experience) Location: Assisted Living / Memory Care Community We are seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support our Activities/Life Enrichment department. This role focuses on helping create meaningful daily experiences for our residents through group activities, one-on-one engagement, and event support. This is a hands-on role and requires someone who is dependable, energetic, and comfortable working directly with seniors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with seniors, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or activities preferred
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable engaging residents with varying levels of cognitive and physical ability
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents as needed during activities
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or activities preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, setting up, and leading daily life enrichment activities
- Support group activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, and social events
- Provide one-on-one engagement with residents who may need additional encouragement or support
- Help transport residents to and from activities as needed
- Assist with community events, holiday programming, and special outings
- Maintain a clean, organized activity space and equipment
- Observe and report resident participation, mood changes, or concerns to leadership
- Support residents in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care in a respectful, patient manner
- Follow all community policies, safety procedures, and state regulations
