This position is eligible for Eskaton's health benefits package the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits program after 90 days of employment. The starting salary for this position ranges from $22.31 to $28.11/hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This is a full-time position with a regular weekly schedule of Tuesday-Saturday, 9:30 AM-6:00 PM. Position Summary: The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for implementing various social Life Enrichment for the social, physical, and mental welfare of the residents. Assists the Life Enrichment Director in planning, organizing and implementing various Life Enrichment programs. Assists with the creation of programs for residents who require memory support Meets the residents' needs and interests, taking into account the abilities and physical limitations of each individual resident. Participates in the residents' plan of care and documents residents' specific interests and participation. Documents attendance at activities. Operates equipment such as VCRs, P.A. systems, projection systems, etc. in an appropriate manner. Maintains those systems in a working manner and provides preventative maintenance as appropriate. Works with volunteer staff to ensure smooth operations of Life Enrichment programs. Ability to utilize redirecting skills when interacting with residents
