The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for enhancing the quality of life for residents in a senior living environment by planning, organizing, and implementing engaging activities and outings. This role requires a caring and compassionate attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team-oriented organization.

  • Work with life enrichment director to plan, organize, and implement group activities and outings.
  • Attend in-service training and continuing education workshops.
  • Learn to recognize abnormal signs and symptoms that signify a physical or mental change in a resident's condition that would require nurse intervention.
  • Be alert and aware of conditions that may interfere with the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines.
  • Experience working with seniors in an elderly care, assisted living, memory care, long term care, skilled nursing facility and/or rehabilitation environment.
