Requirements

• 1 year of experience in activities or event planning, preferably in a senior care or assisted living environment.
• Familiarity with dementia care and memory care practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director to develop and promote recreational activities.
• Encourage residents to participate in various activity programs.
• Implement programs of individual and group activities based on resident needs.
• Assist with identifying and documenting residents' activity interests past and present.
• Assist and supervise with off-site bus trips.
• Lead, direct, and motivate others to innovate and excel.
