About The Position

As a Life Enrichment Aide, you will lead small and large group activities with our residents, assist nursing staff with resident needs, and provide residents with leisure life enrichment items and activities that meet their needs. You will build long-lasting relationships with residents and help provide them with social and emotional support.

Requirements

• Experience with sensory stimulation, recreational therapy, music, and/or creative activities with the geriatric population is preferred
• Completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant course or passing the State Nursing Assistant exam for Certification
• CNA listing on the State and Federal Registry preferred
• Must be compassionate and hard working
• Willing to work independently and able to communicate with the geriatric population
• Computer skills strongly preferred
• Knowledge of the residents' needs for activity, organizational ability, manual dexterity and flexibility required
