Requirements

• Prior experience in senior living programming or recreation therapy highly preferred
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to lead and inspire a team
• Creativity, planning, time-management, and organization
• Compassion for older adults and encouragement of meaningful engagement

Nice To Haves

• CTRS or dementia engagement certification/experience

Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily recreational, social, educational, spiritual, and wellness programs
• Engage residents with individualized and group activities that promote overall well-being
• Coordinate community events and outings that strengthen resident connection and fulfillment
• Partner with residents, families, and team members to support successful participation
• Manage team schedules, budgets, supply inventory, and documentation
• Support community tours and promotional events that contribute to occupancy success
• Flexibility to work weekdays, occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings based on resident needs
