About The Position

The Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by planning and executing engaging activities. This position is part of a certified Great Place To Work, recognized for seven consecutive years. The assistant will be involved in various aspects of activity planning, ensuring that the activities align with the needs and preferences of the residents, and will also coordinate transportation for residents to outside events.

Requirements

  • Current, valid driver's license.
  • Driving record (MVR) that meets company insurance requirements.
  • Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
  • Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, or demonstrated creative skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development and budgeting.
  • Coordinating with outside organizations for activities.
  • Setting up and cleaning up after activities.
  • Ensuring activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
  • Providing oversight of specific life enrichment components as assigned.
  • Coordinating transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicles when needed.
  • Communicating effectively with residents and staff.
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
