About The Position

The Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities. This position is part of a team dedicated to creating a vibrant community where residents can thrive. The assistant will be involved in various aspects of activity planning, ensuring that the needs and preferences of residents are met, and providing oversight for specific life enrichment components as assigned. The role also includes coordinating transportation for residents to outside events and maintaining effective communication with both residents and staff.

Requirements

  • Current, valid driver's license.
  • Driving record (MVR) meets company insurance requirements.
  • Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
  • Preferred experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, customer service, or demonstrated creative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development and budgeting.
  • Coordinating with outside organizations for activities.
  • Setting up and cleaning up after activities.
  • Ensuring activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
  • Providing oversight of specific life enrichment components as assigned.
  • Coordinating transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicles when needed.
  • Communicating effectively with residents and staff.
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
