About The Position

The Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities. This part-time position is scheduled for Wednesday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, ensuring that activities meet the needs and preferences of residents, and providing oversight of specific life enrichment components as assigned. The assistant will also coordinate transportation for residents to and from outside events and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver's license.
• Driving record (MVR) meets company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, customer service, or demonstrated creative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development and budgeting.
• Coordinating with outside organizations for activities.
• Setting up and cleaning up after activities.
• Ensuring activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Providing oversight of a specific life enrichment component as assigned.
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicles when needed.
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
