About The Position

Are you enthusiastic and thoughtful in your approach with people? If so, the position of the Life Coach with Embark at Springville is the perfect position for you! At Embark Springville, our Life Coaches are there at the residence with our clients to help guide and mentor them during those difficult moments. The care and focus that is provided helps the clients and their families move toward a healthy and healing home environment by assisting with communication methods, social skills, experiential, and academic progress.

Requirements

  • 21+ years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Able to pass criminal investigation background check
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to learn CPR and First-Aid.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in a behavioral health residential setting

Responsibilities

  • Walking students through their day-to-day activities
  • Ensuring alignment with their treatment plan that our therapists create for them
  • Relaying any pertinent information over to the treatment team
  • Consistent and thorough documentation and reporting
  • Crisis prevention and management
  • Maintaining a safe environment for clients
  • Participate in staff bonding and house bonding activities
  • Daily light housekeeping; sweeping, cleaning up/putting things away, dishes, etc.
  • Enforcing a positive environment and being a role model
