About The Position
The position involves overseeing the intake and processing of life insurance claims at Fidelity Life. The individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the company's claims adjudication standards, determining the final disposition of claims within assigned authority, and ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and industry standards related to insurance claims. The role includes recommending and implementing best practices for thorough claim settlements, managing negotiations of settlements, and overseeing the administration of claims in litigation. The position also requires collaboration with the Reinsurance Department and acting as a liaison with the TPA's Claims Department. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for training claims staff and overseeing process improvements in life claims functions.
