About The Position

We are looking to hire a Lieutenant for the Oklahoma FPS Contract (Oklahoma City area), who possesses a minimum of two years of security experience within the past five years and are looking to become part of a team that allows career growth. Occasionally some hours being flexible pending staffing and other Management needs.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident who is currently a member of, or who possesses a verifiable honorable discharge from, any component the United States Armed Forces. Ability to pass a NRA firearms qualification course
  • Be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • CLEET Certification
  • Must have a Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration, which bears the individual’s name and social security number
  • A minimum of two (2) years of security (armed), or one (1) year of law enforcement experience in a full-duty status with a full-service police department in a municipality, state, or federal enforcement department within the US, and have resigned or retired in good standing; or
  • A minimum of two (2) years of honorable service as a member of any US Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard) Component
  • Firearms training and firearms qualifications, and company certifications meet state/federal certifications
  • Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English
  • Familiarity with securing facilities and/or vehicles at a fixed location
  • Physically capable of standing a 12-hour post
  • High School education or GED equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background investigation
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam
  • Ability to pass MRPT suitability requirements
  • Demonstrable Proficiency with a Handgun

Responsibilities

  • Inspections done of posts and PSOs throughout the month. Could involve traveling to out of state posts in a Company vehicle
  • Delivery of uniform orders, post supplies and company documents
  • Manage post books (memos, duty book, company folder)
  • Collect end of the month paperwork from all posts
  • Teach SMART Book training if necessary
  • Fill open shifts during on call weekend
  • Issue discipline
  • Assist with new hire training when needed
  • Filling call-offs, and filling shifts as needed
  • Will need to obtain a Top-Secret clearance through the Company to have the ability to visit the FBI post in MN
  • Order and maintain uniform inventory
  • Other duties as assigned by the captain and/or the Contract Manager
