About The Position

The Fulltime Intensive In Home Family Services (I.I.F.S.) position is designed for high-risk youth and families in Cass County. The role involves serving in a 'Circle of Courage' community, emphasizing the core values of Belonging, Mastery, Independence, and Generosity, with a strong focus on ensuring that every team member feels significant and heard. Staff will engage in Intensive In-Home Family Services, providing support 2-3 times per week per case, and collaborating with community agencies to deliver mental health services to at-risk children and their families. Services will primarily be delivered in the families' homes, as well as in community and school settings. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, often working non-traditional hours to accommodate family needs, including evenings and weekends. Documentation of case notes and billing for services is also a critical component of the role.

Requirements

  • Completed master's degree and working toward licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP) for Licensure Candidate.
  • Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP) for Licensed Therapist.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with children and families experiencing mental health issues.
  • Familiarity with various counseling techniques and theories for mental health treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Intensive In-Home Family Services 2-3 times per week per case.
  • Collaborate with community agencies to support at-risk youth and their families.
  • Schedule services during non-traditional hours to accommodate family work schedules.
  • Be available for crisis calls.
  • Document case notes and billable hours as required.
  • Achieve an average of 26-28 client hours per week.
