About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Licensing Engineer II position for our client. Location: Richland, WA Duration: 12 months Duties: Provide regulatory support for key organizational initiatives and objectives, ensuring compliance with applicable licensing and environmental requirements. Interface with engineering project teams, plant organizations, vendors, industry peers, and regulatory bodies. Perform assigned regulatory and technical tasks in accordance with established processes, demonstrating the ability to complete foundational engineering work with limited supervision. Support identification, evaluation, and resolution of nuclear safety, licensing, and regulatory issues. Provide consultation and recommendations to management on regulatory and environmental impacts to project performance. Participate in industry work groups, workshops, and conferences as needed. Assist in environmental reviews, including coordination of field and onsite visits when required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve licensing and environmental compliance challenges. Monitor and communicate updates on regulatory policies, standards, and requirements to stakeholders. Skills: Knowledge of general engineering principles, practices, and problem-solving methodologies. Ability to apply standard engineering techniques to routine technical and regulatory challenges. Familiarity with regulatory affairs concepts and processes; ability to learn and apply more advanced techniques under guidance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of engineering experience in a technical environment. Exposure to regulatory, licensing, or environmental compliance activities is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant engineering experience; OR Professional Engineer (PE) license obtained by accredited examination and one (1) year of engineering experience in a technical environment. High school diploma or GED required. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Requirements

  • Knowledge of general engineering principles, practices, and problem-solving methodologies.
