We’re expanding, and we’re looking for a Licensing & Carrier Access Operations Specialist who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving operational challenges, and brings experience working directly with carriers and state regulatory agencies to keep our teams fully licensed, appointed, compliant, and ready to serve. This role supports both corporate locations and franchise partners, and can be performed fully remote (Pacific Time Zone required) or from one of our retail locations. Opportunities are available for both Full-Time and Part-Time schedules, depending on candidate preference and business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years direct experience working with insurance carriers and/or state regulatory agencies in licensing, contracting, appointments, carrier access, or state affiliations
  • Demonstrated ability to design, improve, and streamline operational processes
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and carrier standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Positive, collaborative, and proactive mindset
  • Ability to work independently while staying organized
  • Must be located in the Pacific Time Zone

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and submit contracting and appointment paperwork for new hires, franchisees, and agents
  • Partner directly with carriers and state Departments of Insurance to secure licensing, appointments, access, and state affiliations
  • Ensure accurate hierarchy setup and correct commission structure alignment
  • Maintain accurate and organized licensing and appointment records
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, leadership, and partners regarding licensing and contracting status
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates when needed
  • Assist with hierarchy and commission audits
  • Conduct background checks when required for licensing related items
  • Support special projects as assigned
  • Build, document, refine, and streamline licensing and contracting processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability as we grow
