About The Position
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Licensing, this role will play essential roles in supporting implementation of overall strategies in commercializing CHOP intellectual properties (IP). The responsibilities may include daily management of assigned invention disclosure cases, assisting with all activities in enhancing visibility of the office and its services to the CHOP community, participating in external outreach and marketing activities of CHOP innovations to attract potential industry licensing partners and investors, and leading or participating in negotiation of agreements involving intellectual property licensing. Depending on the office's needs and under the supervision of a senior member(s) of the licensing team, this position may also serve as interface between the OTT and CHOP's Research Communications group and Research Creative Services team to create and implement an overall messaging strategy for the office.
