About The Position

This is a full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse position for the NOC shift, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, consisting of 12-hour shifts. Each shift includes 4 hours of overtime pay. The role is based at a NeuroRestorative facility in Oxnard, CA, which is a 10-bed Congregate Living Health Facility (CLHF) with low patient ratios. The schedule involves working Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Week 1, and Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in Week 2, on a repeating basis. The position offers rewarding work, impacting the lives of those served, and involves working alongside a team of coworkers, supporting and serving people with brain injury.

Requirements

• Current state LPN/LVN License
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent assessment skills with the ability to exercise critical thinking in the clinical environment
• Effective communication skills – ability to communicate with team members, medical professionals, those we serve, and their families
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, implement health care plans, and respond to changes of condition
• Communicate with the physician and external medical centers to ensure consistency of essential medical information
• Monitor and ensure physicians orders are documented and carried out as prescribed
