The Bilingual Occupational Therapist provides a full range of Occupational Therapy services to children in grades K-12, including screening and assessment with appropriate methods for students in both English and Spanish (as needed), individual and group therapy, and consultation with school teams. As a member of the Individualized Education Plan team, the OT-Bilingual helps to determine student’s eligibility for special services, appropriate programming, and on-going progress. GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of a credentialed school nurse, the Licensed Vocational Nurse performs specialized physical health care services for students to perform a wide variety of nursing duties and maintains a healthy and safe environment for students and staff.
