What You’ll Do Our LVNs provide nursing care, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure resident safety and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
  • Current LVN license from the Texas State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners
  • CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of nursing theory and practice, ideally with geriatrics experience
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-focused mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Previous LVN experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor resident condition, documenting changes and outcomes
  • Supervise and assign duties to nursing assistants and ancillary staff
  • Participate in care plan development and follow-through
  • Ensure medication and treatment compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
  • Count and secure controlled substances; maintain medicine supply room organization
  • Assist with discharge planning related to medications and treatments
  • Adhere to OSHA, infection control, and emergency procedures
  • Attend trainings to remain current with nursing standards and emerging healthcare trends
