About The Position
Job: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: Work Setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities, Patient Homes, Assisted Living Facilities/Senior Living, Hospital/Clinical Setting Employement Type: 1099 Contractor Schedule Options: Part-time / Per-diem ABOUT THE ROLE CareLinx by Sharecare is a nationwide registry of healthcare professionals — and we work differently. Whether you want steady recurring shifts or per-diem flexibility, you stay in control of how much you work — while we handle the match. Once onboarded, you'll work alongside a dedicated Care Advisor team focused on finding you the right matches — based on location, client needs, and your availability. The best professionals on our platform build consistent schedules, stay engaged through the app, and communicate proactively with their Care Advisors. We're currently hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide skilled nursing care across a variety of settings. New graduates are welcome!
Requirements
- Active LVN nursing license/certification
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 2 months of nursing experience
- Proof of COVID vaccination including first booster
- Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app (required for scheduling, documentation, and timesheets)
- Ability to communicate in English (bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply)
- Reliable transportation to and from agreed upon shifts
- Must pass a background check
- Medical clearance such as TB test or physical exam
- Additional documentation may be required based on state law or client contract
- Some training requirements may be needed prior to accepting shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide care within your scope of practice including preparation, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
- Collect, record, and monitor patient data, routine measurements, and vital signs
- Administer immunizations and therapeutic injections as ordered by providers
- Supervise ancillary personnel and delegate responsibilities as appropriate
- Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment
- Document all care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift
- Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app
- Communicate with your Care Advisor regarding any case updates or changes in patient condition
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times
