Licensed Vocational Nurse
About The Position
Licensed Vocational Nurses function as an essential member of the clinic patient care team. LVNs perform technical skills, procedures, and treatments to support the delivery of patient care. Applicants are expected to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills. They must illustrate the ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients and all members of the medical staff. We are looking for seasoned professionals to join our team and become a valuable member of our well-established practice.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience preferred
- Current California license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Preparing the necessary equipment and supplies for exam
- Delivering patient/family education according to established plan or physician direction
- Documenting clinical information accurately and completely
- Preparing charts for the practitioner with requisition, results and referrals
- Cleaning and stocking exam rooms; maintaining equipment as necessary
- Processing specimens to the lab for ordered testing
