About The Position

Adelphi is seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide on -site nursing care at a residential behavioral health facility in Howard County, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a structured behavioral health setting. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN program
  • Active, unrestricted LVN or LPN license in the State of Texas
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health or long -term care preferred
  • Must comply with agency & facility requirements, including drug screening & FBI fingerprint background check
  • Must comply with agency and facility immunization requirements
  • Must complete all required facility and agency training requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health or long -term care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and patient medication education.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
  • Perform computer data entry and other clinical tasks as required. (full training will be provided).
  • Comply with SOPs and all applicable regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission, agency, and facility policies).
  • Collaborate effectively with RNs, nurse managers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
