Job Title: Full-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Psychiatric Technician Division/Program: Crisis Residential Treatment Facility (Adult Inpatient) Starting Compensation: 32.00 - 34.00 USD Per Hour Working Location: Fresno, CA Working Hours/Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday NOC Shift 1800-0630. $2 NOC Shift Differential Why Join Our Team? One (1) year nursing experience required, preferably treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting. (Clinical nursing school rotations may be substituted for a portion of work experience.) One (1) year medication administration experience preferred. Valid California LVN or LPT license required. How you will make a difference Provides direct nursing care and supervises same provided by all nursing staff on the shift worked. Makes written or oral shift assignments and plans, organizes, and directs the nursing activities of the unit, assuring quality care delivery. Visually and audibly observes, documents in writing, and reports orally or in writing the physical or mental condition to the Program Manager and the attending physician or nurse practitioner. Orders, prepares, administers, and documents the administration of medication for clients according to physicians’ or nurse practitioners’ orders. Confirms delivery of all ordered medication from pharmacy on shift worked. Responsible for writing a weekly summary on clients as assigned. Monitors and maintains appropriate nursing documentation in the medical record for shift worked. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law. Requirements
