About The Position
Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director, the LVN performs patient care within the scope of the Vocational Nurse Practice Act. The LVN provides patient care to policies and procedures of CHOMP, Westland House, and Hospice of the Central Coast as applicable. The LVN participates in patient and family teaching, works collaboratively with the patient care team, and uses resources efficiently. The LVN recognizes the importance of meeting customer expectations, demonstrating a positive caring attitude, and performs the duties necessary to fulfill the customer's needs. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and good critical thinking skills are important dimensions of this position.
