About The Position
Summary: Provides nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed professional. A5 is a 27-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit. We primarily care for medical-surgical patients with a diagnosis that consists of medical issues such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiac issues such as congestive heart failure. Requirements
- Education Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Experience Will accept a new graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Current Texas State LVN license.
- CPR - (American Heart Association)
Responsibilities
- Provides primary care to a designated group of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Assists in the collection of patient data used to determine nursing needs of the patient.
- Works with other disciplines to ensure a Collaborative approach to the care of the patient.
