Full Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) We are seeking a Full Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to become a part of the Prudential Health Care team. The office in Cerritos provides Home Health professionals for the Orange County area including Long Beach, Torrance, Los Alamitos, Lakewood, San Pedro, Palos Verdes, Anaheim, Irvine, Tustin, and many others. Requirements
- Licensed as a Vocational Nurse in the State of CA
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- Hard working & self starter
Nice To Haves
- Six months of Home Health or geriatric nursing desirable
Responsibilities
- Inspect the assigned patient’s room environment for any possible dangers or hazards
- Provide various health care interventions at home
- Provide health education the patients, families and caregivers living with the patient regarding the patient’s current status and health needs
- Monitor the vital sign of their patient such as BP, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, temperature and respiration rate
- Provide changing of wound dressings, administer injections, and provide alcohol rubs and back massages
