Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Vocational Nursing
  • Licensed by the Texas Board of Licensed Vocational Nurse Examiners
  • Minimum of one (1) year LVN experience
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient care and interventions according to care plans, nursing standards, and hospital policies.
  • Act as a dedicated advocate for patients, ensuring they are treated with dignity, respect, and strict HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.
  • Maintain clear, professional dialogue with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Accurately document all interventions and patient responses in medical records and review care plans daily.
  • Prioritize team success over self-interest, upholding our R.I.S.E. core values and assisting with staffing or temporary reassignments as needed.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with state and federal regulations while actively participating in continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to call bells, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor even under stress.
  • Efficiently utilize equipment, supplies, and manpower to ensure the highest standards of care.
